Baltimore City just did there PIT count.  What is PIT? Point In Time count of the homeless in Baltimore City.  It's a count of those who are on the streets homeless in our city.  When I hear about this and its outcome, I was truly astonished.  Our new mayor Catherine Pugh said she's going to work hard at lowering the population of homeless in Baltimore City, and I truly commend her for that.  After what I saw for myself on the news and in the streets, we always wonder why is this person homeless? And then we ask the questions is it any of my business?

The answer to these questions is YES!, why? because we're commanded to take care of the "LEAST OF THESE."  We did a show similar to this a while ago, coming from the same scripture Matthew 25:31-46.  Christ was very explicit when he spoke on this.  In my Bible, it's titled "The Sheep and the Goats."  It says that when the Son of Man comes in His glory, he will separate the people one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goat.  You see, the sheep are his followers, that's us.  We call the Pastor the Shepherd and we are the sheep, or the followers of Christ because he is the Shepherd.  Next, we have the goats, Basically, after research, goats look similar to sheep and sometimes it's hard to recognize them, but goats don't follow anyone, they go their own way.

Christ is saying that many of us hear the word of God and follow it and help our fellow man as the Shepherd does with sheep.  But, much more often, selfishness sets in, and many of us become goats and don't care about anyone but ourselves.
