Laurie Jackson, Executive Director of National Safe Place will talk about how they engage nonprofit and for profit partners to create a national network to help children in danger. She joined the organization in June of 2010. Laurie has been active with Safe Place for over 15 years. She recently served as Associate Executive Director for Synergy Services, Inc. in Kansas City, Missouri. She was with Synergy Services, Inc. for 16 years and prior to that worked for several years with Cedars Youth Services in Lincoln, Nebraska. Ms. Jackson has been active with local, regional, state and national efforts in the areas of runaway and homeless youth, child welfare and domestic violence.
