Every day, abused and neglected children in our community are taken from their homes and placed into temporary foster care because their parents cannot—or will not—take care of them. Today I will talk with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Cook County, Illinois works to help these children find safe, permanent homes where they can thrive. And Our Friends Place in Dallas is breaking the cycle of abuse, neglect, poverty & homelessness for young girls.
