Many of our listeners probably they got along better with their kids. Dr. Kevin Fell & his son Austin increase their bond by living for five years as college roommates. Dr. Fell got his Ph.D. in psychology and Austin transformed from a high school dropout, felon, and suicidal teen into a college grad, loving dad, and thriving professional with a clean record.

Please welcome to the show Dr. Kevin & Austin Fell.

Was your experience as roommates together an identical experience to the 1986 classic Rodney Dangerfield film “Back To School’?

What did you learn about each other during your experience together in college?

As of today, you both work with parents to help them reconnect, repair their relationships, and solve problems with even the most difficult teens. What are some of the methodologies you developed for doing this?

Did either of you ever complain to the RA about your roommate?
