Another Apocalyptic Zombie Radio welcomes film maker John McLoughlin to the show. John grew up in the tri-state area. An accomplished musician, he played guitar in hardcore quartet Wide Awake and while studying acting in NYC before taking the big leap to Hollywood at 19. John soon landed a role on an HBO comedy titled Dream On which was produced by John Landis and Kevin Bright. Other supporting television roles and commercials followed including guest starring roles on hit network shows Beverly Hills 90210 and Family Matters and a long running Wheel of Fortune commercial spot working alongside Aretha Franklin that also aired for several years. Then John got behind the camera... co writing, producing and appearing in a 1.3 million dollar indie powerhouse film titled "Along the Way" which was directed in 2007 by Andrew Bowen and ICD Entertainment. The film won several awards and gets high marks in most online reviews. John studied each director that he worked with on set and he took a practice run in 2013 with a hilarious dark comedy short titled "Temporary Insanity" followed by a string of commercial shoots and indie projects. John's latest is a feature film titled "Underwood" - a dark supernatural thriller in the spirit of an old Hitchcock film or Twilight Zone. John has also recently expanded into reality television with his new non-scripted production company Professional Slacker Productions that just signed a shopping deal with Prime time Emmy winning Producer Bill Hunt - Bill is head of Austin Street Productions in NYC. Keep an eye out for the Painted Lady reality series among others from John and his production team in coming months. Another Apocalyptic Zombie Movie is proud to have John on our team!
