Fixing the healthcare system by Dr. R. Garth Kirkwood author "Health Care For All"

After completing his clinical and academic medical education at the University of Maryland, Tulane University, and Harvard University and at the height of his career, Dr. Kirkwood was stricken with severe congestive heart failure. Having survived for several years due to good medical care, effective cardiac drugs, a lessening of stress, and prayers from legions of patients and others in many different churches, he developed another area of expertise,being a patient with a chronic illness.
