Ian Anderson from Jethro Tull discusses 'Thick as a Brick 2'

Ian Anderson is undoubtedly best known to most rock music fans as the singer, acoustic guitarist and flautist in the British progressive rock group Jethro Tull. Anderson is the group's principal composer, and so widely identified with Jethro Tull that even now, there are fans who believe that Anderson's name is Jethro Tull and that he is a solo artist.

In the last few years Anderson has interspersed his work with Tull with a growing focus on solo concerts, and this year the musician will undertake perhaps the most ambitious solo work of his career. In April Anderson will release a newly-recorded sequel to Jethro Tull's seminal 1972 album Thick as a Brick, followed by a solo tour that will feature him performing both the original album and its new sequel back to back live in their entirety.
