Guitarist Andy Timmons has had an extremely diverse career. He has worked as a musician and arranger for artists as diverse as Olivia Newton-John, Paul Stanley and Paula Abdul, and sold more than a million records as a member of Danger Danger. Timmons has previously recorded nine solo albums that showcase his intricate guitar work.

The guitarist's most recent album is Andy Timmons Band Plays Sgt. Pepper, an all-instrumental re-imagining of The Beatles' iconic Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. The album features Timmons, along with bassist Mike Daane and drummer Mitch Marine, de-constructing the timeless album and liberally re-arranging the music from memory.

Andy Timmons spoke to Long Live Rock about the new album, his long career, why it's usually a bad idea to cover The Beatles, his geekiest Beatle fanboy moment and more in this exclusive interview!
