Sherri Snelling, CEO and founder of The Caregiving Club, is a nationally recognized expert on America’s 65 million family caregivers with special emphasis on how to help caregivers balance "self-care" while caring for a loved one.
Snelling is a contributing editor and blogger on caregiving for numerous online sites, including The Alzheimer’s Association, ThirdAge, wowOwow, Pure Wow, Huffington Post 50, and Living Better at 50, as well as other online, print, and broadcast media reaching more than 8 million Boomer women every month. Her book on celebrities who have been caregivers will be published in 2012.
In addition, Snelling is the executive producer and host of the caregiver makeover reality TV program Handle with Care, and creator and host of the weekly Me Time Monday videos and tips.
She is the former chairperson of The National Alliance for Caregiving (NAC), the leading caregiving advocacy nonprofit organization based in Washington, DC, as well as an advisory board member for the Los Angeles Caregiver Resource Center (LACRC). Snelling is the former director for caregiver programs and services at UniteHealthcare, one of the nation's leading healthcare insurers and a Fortune 25 company.
