She is the Founder and Artistic Director of an African American theatre company, Onyx Theatre Company, whose goal is to provide a safe, resourceful and creative outlet for its members to commit 100% to themselves and their craft. Her mission, through OTC, is to provide magnanimous works of art that emotionally move and ignite audiences of all ages.
