Tonights unexpected Guest was my Sponsee Mark. Mark is a terrific individual who has been battling addicitions for quite some time and it has almost caused him his Marriage/Children/Job and everything else that is associated with that Lifestyle. Yet - while he has managed to keep all of that - the question becomes - is he really getting better or just well enough? If you listened then you decide for yourself. Alcoholics Anonymous is a 12 Step Program of Suggestions and NO RULES. You can add anything else that you feel may work for you, Faith in a "HIGHER POWER" is one of those. 

My original topic of the evening was discussing another friend of mine in Recovery on the West Coast. Having had a God moment - I accidently dialed her phone number and hung up after I realized my error, hanging up before she answered. As it happened - she called me about 10 minutes after I was able to conclude my current conversation. At once - I realized that God had wanted me to talk to her, as did she. When we finished our conversation - I could tell that she had a better grasp of her challenging situation, and that all would be well - IF - she left the problem in GOD's hands..
