So in what was a shorter negotiation than many thought, Donald Sterling, and his family are going to take the money and run. His wife Shelley Sterling has agreed to sell the Los Angeles Clippers to former Microsoft CEO and Multi-billionaire Steve Ballmer for 2 Billion dollars.

Now for longtime sports fans, your immediate reaction was probably... "What?" The Clippers are worth that much? They were a terrible team until about 3 years ago. The answer is "Yes they are."  On this weeks show we are going to talk about why these sports franchises are worth that much.

Our guest this week will be ESPN The Magazines's Keith Reed.
