4 More Years...Now What. Time for Bipartisanship

So after a hard-fought political season, around 11:13 pm EST, it was almost anti-climatic when President Barack Obama was declared the winner this past Tuesday. Polls fluctuated, debate performances came and went and yet, without any recounts or hanging chads, the campaign was over.

 

If you were to look or listen to the likes of Neal Boortz or Bill O' Reilly, we are just days away from the Apocalypse. President Obama's "opponents" can't even find it in their hearts to "congratulate" him for a well run campaign and a victory. O'Reilly's somber assessment is there is something wrong with the "majority" who elected him, and there is still nothing wrong with him or his views. But do they truly represent the majority of what is now the "minority" party, also know as the Republican Party. 

 

As President Obama gets back to work, there are people from both parties planning their next moves. How do the Democrats keep up the momentum, they are enjoying? How do the Republicans gain more traction and develop the next wave of young leaders within their party? At the same time, how do they juggle those strategies, while they do what they were elected to do...govern the country?
