Hunting for Heroes provides recreational therapy & counseling for law enforcement officers severely injured in the line of duty.  Founded in 2010 by 2 active duty LEOs,   H4H reaches out to officers across the country to connect them with other officers who have sustained life altering injuries.  H4H provides a hunting camp environment where officers & families are able to step away from daily struggles and enjoy time outdoors.

According to Hunting for Heroes, “we allow officers & families the freedom to let their guard down and share difficult situations as we all contribute to help them overcome the struggles they are facing both emotionally and physically. At our camps we connect disabled officers and their families with other families in similar circumstances.  They are able to create lifelong friendships and grow their support network as they travel down the long road of recovery.  They also gain strength and courage as they share stories of personal struggles and perseverance as they discuss their recoveries and the daily challenges they face."

As a Board member, Lance LoRusso “is a litigator with a healthc are& law enforcement background, Lance focuses his practice on general liability defense for individuals & corporations, medical malpractice defense, healthcare law and catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases on behalf of injured parties and affected families.  As a former officer, Lance is a strong advocate for Georgia LEO. He serves as General Counsel to the Georgia Fraternal Order of Police as well as Lodge Attorney for Cobb County’s Lodge 13 of the Fraternal Order of Police.  Lance continues to serve the community as an instructor for Georgia police academies and Hunting For Heroes. www.huntingforheroes.org."
