Mixed Dealers from LepreCon 2014

Come and meet some of the terrific variety of vendors LepreCon 2014 in the dealers' room the weekend of May 8-11th.

First we will be talking to The Transporter Room from 5:30-6pm

The Transporter Room is a Geek Hub in a Pub, a place for gamers, techies and pop culture lovers to get together, play games, work on tech and geek projects, and enjoy sci-fi, fantasy, anime and tech/science shows on our screens, all in a pub designed just for them. My partner Jason and I wanted a place to enjoy all of these things while tipping back some brews and having meals and snacks on site.

Spiral Ink Comics from 6-6:30

Spiral Ink Comics was founded in 2013 by independent comic artists Rob Hicks, Derrick Tipton, and Mickey Chaney.  The three artists met in 2012 while attending the infamous weekly "doodle night" event held at Jesse James Comics in Glendale, AZ.  During the production of Rob's debut comic title, Hooded Cobra: The Den of Serpents, Mickey offered up his inking skills for the book and later Derrick offered his coloring expertise for the book's cover.  Shortly thereafter, writer JJ Shelton approached the group about a co-writing opportunity for the rest of the series and the rest, as they say, is history!  Derrick and Rob also recruited cover artist Ruben Rosas to add yet another variety of style to the company.   S.I.C. plans to redefine what it means to be an indie comics publisher with their powerhouse combo of 100% original comic art and a strong focus on quality over quantity!
