Michael D’Ambrosio is from the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area and has been writing fiction since 2000. He regularly appears at science-fiction, fantasy and horror conventions around the country. He has been a keynote speaker at the Library of Congress.

In addition to novels, Michael also has written several screenplays for his books and other projects, which are currently on the market. His main project, Space Frontiers is expected to be a long series while a sequel to Night Creeps and other projects remain a possibility.

We will be talking to Michael about the pros and cons of adapting his own books to screenplays and the hurdles he has had to jump to get noticed. He has just returned from the Inktip’s Pitch Summit in Burbank, California. We will talk about what he had to do to get there and what his expectations of the future is for screenplay writing.
