With a comprehensive examination of the definitions of the word lie, scripture references on the sinful nature of lying and the various types of lies that exist, this episode will focus entirely on the officious, or little white lie. We will also examine why this is the hardest type of lie to avoid, examine where on the continuum between truth and lie the officious lie falls, why it is so easy to lie and whether offering up a little white lie is actually a sin.
