Join us as we discuss how to use games as a learning tool  for small businesses and small business owners with Elizabeth N. Treher, Ph.D.

Liz Treher, Ph.D., co-founder of The Learning Key, Inc., has extensive experience in leading research and development. Trained as a radiochemist, she has held research management and project leader positions in industry, government, and academia, including the University of Southern California School of Pharmacy, Los Alamos National Laboratory, E.R. Squibb & Sons, and Bristol-Myers Squibb. Liz led the discovery team that patented and developed radiopharmaceutical imaging agents, including Cardiotec, which has been on the market for many years as a heart imaging agent. She has authored more than 75 publications and patents. Her most recent book, A Guide to Success for Technical Managers, Supervising in Research, Development, and Engineering, was published by John Wiley & Sons in December 2010.

Liz was responsible for the initial design, development, and delivery of the broad and innovative training curriculum of a corporate college for 22,000 pharmaceutical employees. In her role leading organizational development and training for the research institute of a large global pharmaceutical company, she created the Center for Science Education. In her work at The Learning Key, she has assisted many individuals, groups and companies, providing coaching and helping them develop strategic education plans, training curricula, and learning tools such as board games. She was an invited member of the first U.S. delegation to China on Human Resources Training and Development.

Her primary focus is in developing experiential learning tools to facilitate enhanced individual and organizational performance.
