Bruce Friedrich, Farm Sanctuary's Senior Director for Strategic Initiatives, discusses effective advocacy for animals. Bruce will provide tips for animal rights activists and discuss the "Someone, Not Something" campaign and other exciting Farm Sanctuary projects.

Bruce has worked as a public school teacher in inner city Baltimore, as Vice President for Policy at PETA, and at a homeless shelter and soup kitchen in D.C. He was inducted into the Animal Rights Hall of Fame in 2004 and has been a progressive activist for 25 years. He co-authored The Animal Activist's Handbook with Matt Ball.
