SWAC Championship Game; Texans Turmoil; College Coach Flight and more!

The SWAC Championship game is Saturday in Houston at NRG Stadium. Will Alcorn State or Grambling walk away with the conference title? HBCU play-by-play guy Mark Gray joins us live for a preview. Also, while TSU is finished for this football season, the team is doing work off the field. Head coach Mike Haywood joins us to talk about this and more.  

The Houston Texans have been... well not so good in recent weeks. At least when you look at what their offense is and is not doing under quarterback Brock Osweiler. The Texans have lost two in a row and take their 6-5 record on the road to face the Packers in Green Bay on Sunday. Things are getting snarky around the Kirby complex. At least when it comes to head coach Bill O'Brien. We'll hear from him what's ahead for this struggling offense. 

Some college coaches are doing their version of the cupid shuffle but their dance comes with a lot of consequences. Former UH head coch Tom Herman shuffled his way to a $6 million annual gig at UT while Charlie Strong was dismissed after a disappointing 3-year record Texas. In fairness, Strong did the heavy lifting effectively paving the way for Herman to ride in and reap the benefits of the painful path Strong paved for three grueling seasons. But so the wheel turns.
