On July 23, Giorgia Fumanti will receive the prestigious Premio Lunezia nel Mondo Award following a performance in her homeland - Italy. This award is given to an artist who has exported his or her talent abroad and for the quality of the music and lyrics of his or her repertoire. Giorgia will give a series of concerts in Italy in July and August before flying to Asia to perform in Singapore, Taiwan, and China.

Giorgia Fumanti’s fifth album Elysium just recently released is ranked in the Top 5 on the Canadian Classical Crossover Chart. Elysium will be released in other parts of the world during the course of the year.

In honor of this incredible award, One Voice From Africa will re-air the episode that Giorgia graciously contributed to in voice and in song on July 23. That episode prominently featured Elysium prominently and is currently available On Demand. We look forward to having you join us on One Voice From Africa
