On November 25 at 12noon EST KDSL will chat with Abner Oakes,  a veteran education consultant based in the Washington, DC area, having worked in and with schools, school districts, and state education agencies for more than 30 years. Most recently, he was a Senior Program Associate at Learning Point Associates, where worked on a variety of contracts, from U.S. federal (The Center for Comprehensive School Reform and Improvement) to state level (Illinois State Board of Education) to school district (Winner School District, Winner, SD).

Previously, he worked for nine years at Modern Red SchoolHouse, a provider of high-quality staff development to schools and districts; consulted for organizations such as Eduventures, the D.C.
