Making A Difference: Vanessa Rainey Johnson & Duwod Salter

On this special episode of Making a Difference  our special guests are Vanessa Rainey Johnson, the CEO and Founder of Blue Moon 211 Inc., a suicide awareness and prevention organization, based in Tampa, Florida and Duwod Salter, president ofthe organization Women Helping Others of Tampa Bay, Inc. The show will air Thursday, June 16th at 6:30pm est.

Ms. Johnson received a calling from God to form Blue Moon211 Inc.in January 2013. It's mission is twofold:

1. Inspire peace and make a difference in the world;
2. Reach out and attempt to save the lives of those who feel hopeless, lost and alone.

Ms. Johnson is very passionate about helping those in need and is very active with the following organizations:

• American Foundation Suicide Prevention.
• NOPACS (National Organization for People of Color against Suicide)
• Hispanic Association and International Ministries
• The Florida Suicide Coalition Task Force
• The African American Council for Mental Health
