In my soon to be released book The 3 Pillars of Strength: Increasing Your Physical, Mental, and Spiritual Fitness, one of the topics discussed is Fitness Trends.
Practically every year, a "revolutionary" new exercise product, fitness routine or diet plan becomes available. It is touted as the best program ever and it practically guarantees results!
Meanwhile, every January, millions of people make New Year's Resolutions where their goal is to start exercising or lose weight. While these are fantastic goals, our society is heavier and waistlines are expanding. Something is seriously wrong with this picture, but what is it? Is their plan of action unrealistic? Are their goals and expectations too high? Should they just keep trying every product on the market?
Many "revolutionary products" like the Ab Rocket and Scarsdale Diet have come and gone, only to be replaced by something else.
Ask yourself: What was the fitness rage last year? 5 years ago? What were people doing 10 years ago? Will the products out today be here 5 years from now? 10 years from now?
In order to be the best person you can be, not only does a physical change have to take place, but so does a mental and spiritual change!
Tune in to determine what is a legitimate exercise plan vs something that's designed to make the inventors rich, and how to change your mindset to achieve those goals!
