Lawrence Lessig discusses the ways members of Congress depend on and become distracted by money.

About my guest: Lawrence Lessig is a professor of law at Harvard Law School where he is also a director of the Edmond J. Safra Foundation Center for Ethics. Lessig is well known for his pioneering work examining the impact of the Internet, primarily as the founder of the Center for Internet and Society during his tenure as a law professor at Stanford Law School.

His latest book, "Republic Lost: A Declaration for Independence," addresses his current focus on the corrupting influence of money on politics.
