The 2012 theme for readers and lovers of good literature at Words & Music Literary Feast is: Literature out of Time, relating to past eras as well as future.

Joy Radio is proud to interview two authors whose work falls into this category, Moira Crone, "The Not Yet," and Sanem Ozdural, "LiGa" ( acronym for the subject of the book, LIfe Game) on Monday, October 7, 2012 at 10 am, ET.

Moira Crone is a fiction writer living in New Orleans. The author of three previous collections including What Gets Into Us, and a novel, A Period of Confinement. Her works have appeared in Oxford American, The New Yorker, Image, Mademoiselle, and over forty other journals and twelve anthologies. She has won prizes for her stories and novellas, and in 2009 she was given the Robert Penn Warren Award from the Fellowship of Southern Writers for the entire body of her work. http://moiracrone.com

Sanem Ozdural is an attorney in New York. She was born in Ankara, Turkey in the 70s, and spent her childhood from age seven onwards in England. Making her way to the U.S. she studied economics at Princeton University. After graduating from Boston University School of Law, she moved to New Orleans where she practiced as a prosecutor and civil litigator. In 2004 she migrated from New Orleans via Washington, D.C., reaching New York City in 2006, where she still lives and practices law. Sanem was an avid bridge player until the tenth round of revisions to LiGa. She is now thoroughly enjoying an indefinite bridge sabbatical, and imagining all sorts of stories that featrue absolutely no bridge or chess. LiGaTM.org
