Rosemary James is co-founder of the Pirate's Alley Faulkner Society, Inc., which has a mission of providing
realistic assistance to developing writers; showcasing new authors and their debut work, as well as the
new work of fine, well-established authors; and creating entertaining and enlightening programming for
the general reading public. A published author of two books of narrative non-fiction, Ms. James is the
creator of all of the programs of the Faulkner Society put into place over the 22 years the Society has
been in existence,

The two major projects of the Faulkner Society each year are:

The William Faulkner - William Wisdom Creative Writing Competition and Words & Music, a Literary Feast in New Orleans.

Rosemary James will discuss Faulkner-Wisdom Competition, 2012. It opened on January 1 and the postmark deadline is May 15, 2012.
