Born in Yorkshire, England, Paul Weston’s early interests in life were music and sport, and at age 16, he joined the Royal Marines Band Service as a winds and string player.
Commissioned to officer in 1996, he passed Special Duties Office Training and served as a Director of Music and General Service Staff Officer around the globe.
In 2005, Paul left the military and immigrated to Canada, and in 2006 formed Tempo1 Solutions, a consultancy aimed at helping companies develop effective leadership and management practices.
His sporting passions include rugby, cricket, golf, windsurfing, snowboarding and endurance sports.
In 2014, he attempted his first ever triathlon after which he entered the 2015 Muskoka Ironman which he completed in 13 hours and 50 minutes, raising over $4,000.00 for the Canadian Cancer Society.
He following this up with the Mont Tremblant Ironman in 2016, during which he raised over $4,000.00 for The Arthritis Society.
