Joe Milford Hosts Cal Bedient

Cal Bedient has published three collections of poetry: Candy Necklace (Wesleyan University Press, 1997), The Violence of the Morning (University of Georgia Press, 2002), and Days of Unwilling (Saturnalia Books, 2008). He has authored five books of literary criticism and his reviews and essays have appeared in numerous periodicals, including The New Republic, The New York Times Book Review, The Nation, Salmagundi, Boston Review, Partisan Review, and Parnassus. He is a co-editor of the New California Poetry Series (University of California Press) and of Lana Turner: A Journal of Poetry & Opinion.
