It's hard to keep the focus on your mission in life sometimes when you don't see any results coming from it. What you have to ask yourself in this situation is this: if I am willing to stick with my mission, even if the results aren’t immediately apparent, will I or will I not be better off months – years – decades down the road?

I had a student of mine several years ago start his own business, and become very successful. Now, I've reconnected with him, and we're forming a partnership that will benefit both of us greatly. The takeaway from this: I had no idea the work I was doing years ago would yield a beneficial partnership today.
 
Today, we're talking about the importance of keeping to your mission no matter what. The work you're doing today WILL yield you results that you cannot possibly foresee...
