What's your agenda? Gay Agenda brings you the latest in LGBT news and issues. This weeks special guest is Alvin McEwen, a 38 year old native of Columbia, SC and a graduate of Winthrop University in the field of mass communications. Between the years of 2004 and 2007, McEwen engaged in an extensive study of religious right tactics and propaganda techniques. In 2007, he wrote Holy Bullies and Headless M\onsters: Exposing the Lies of the Anti-Gay Industry. He is currently the blogmaster of Holy Bullies and Headless Monsters and Anti-Gay Lies and Liars and has written extensively on how the religious right distorts truth and exploits the fears of heterosexual people of faith against the gay community. He is also author of the column Message to the Religious Right (http://holybulliesandheadlessmonsters.blogspot.com/2008/11/this-isnt-just-about-marriage-its-about.html), which to many, properly articulated the rage of the gay community after the Proposition 8 vote.
