One word I hear from parents often is "intimidation" when referring to their experiences with their child's school.  The reasons range from use of terminology, an overwhelming presence of school staff in meetings, or a lack of transparency and inconsistency.

We'll hear Monday from a parent who was contacted about "behavior" issues, resulting in a request for special education evaluation.  What's odd about this is that the student is an honor roll student and has received citizenship awards for his conduct.  Tune in to hear how this story progressed and gain some insight into how to address these issues.

Monday, January 15th, 7pm EST.  To call in with your questions or comments, dial (515) 602-9769.
