In the past several months there have been a rash of expulsions, suspensions and school related criminal charges filed against special needs children, particularly in the state of Florida.  With parents encouraging investigations by the U.S. Justice Department, are special needs children being educated or warehoused?

On March 2, 2017 14 year old special education student Ashton Gelfand was arrested at school and charged with 4 misdemeanors and 1 felony.  Ashton's father, Bryan Gelfand explains the circumstances leading up to, during and after the arrest.
