Kevin P. Henry has been immersed in the field of cultural diversity for over 20 years. His professional and personal journey began in 1994 when he was named editor of the Seattle-based Diversity News. He went on to host the local radio program, Voices of Diversity, a show that lasted 15 years on three different local stations and on the internet. The program deftly covered a wide range of social and cultural issues, including topics like Domestic Violence, White Privilege, Cultural Competence, Transracial Adoption, LGBT issues, and Cultural Arts. 

Kevin has been the City of Bellevue’s Cultural Diversity Program Coordinator since 1994. He is responsible for coordinating and producing an array of programs, including workshops, trainings, panel discussions and presentations that focus on media relations, cultural arts, diversity issues and education. In addition, he has continued to host and produce radio programs and educational videos.

Kevin frequently assists nonprofits, businesses and other agencies in increasing cultural competence and outreach to diverse populations and in event and program planning. 

Kevin has over 30 years of journalism experience, having written for the Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Daily News, Colors NW, Seattle Woman and thrive! magazine. A native of Los Angeles, Kevin has a BA Degree in Radio/TV/Film from California State University, Northridge.
