More than sixty years have passed since Israel’s controversial inception, yet violence still exists between the Israelis and Palestinians. Author and humanitarian Michael Darkow aims to open an interfaith dialogue and encourage everyday Americans to help bring peace to Israel by humanizing both sides of the conflict. On "Inspirations of the Heart," Michael will discuss his new book, "Our Promised Land" (Synergy Books, February 2010) and how you and I can stop the violence in Israel.

Michael T. Darkow works in the construction industry in Milwaukee, Wis. A student of the arts, Darkow attended the University of Wisconsin where he studied creative writing, theater and philosophy. A committed researcher, Darkow enjoys studying the Israel-Palestinian conflict as well as history of the region.
