Quinnipiac University students have chosen to live in area retirement and assisted living facilities.

Guest, Erica DeFrancesco, MS, OTR/L is a Clinical Associate Professor of Occupational Therapy at Quinnipiac University located in Hamden, Connecticut.

Through the university students are taking advantage of a unique living situation program in conjunction with selected area assisted living communities. Once approved, a student will live in the facility for the entire school year. One of the goals is to help students  prepare for careers in elder care by providing an experience they can’t find in any classroom.
