Rosalee Dodson has experienced many challenges and made many mistakes, but giving up wasn't one of them. Rosalee bases her life on the wizard of oz story. Their story is about how the characters stuck together and moved forward to their goal. Anything in life that is worth obtaining; a product, an idea, or even a divorce, is all the same process. It's all about moving on and not looking back. It's about putting together a plan. Putting one foot in front of the other, and doing an action item every day that gets you there. Rosalee has been in real estate 22 years and in 2007 seen the market slowing down. She was 59 and looking for something to soften the financial crash she foresaw coming in her personal life. Not only was her income tied to the health of the real estate market, she had also invested all her money in rental property all over United States. Realtors don't have retirement or unemployment benefits. Rosalee was heading for a huge train wreck. During Rosalee's interview you will laugh with her as she tells her story how her life turned into a roller coaster ride with her invention the ecodraindragon. Knowing nothing about inventing she'll tell you how she moved forward one foot at a time and obtained 3 licensing offers, a QVC contract, 5 catalogs, an offer to be on Kelly Ripa's new show woman inventors, auditioned for the discovery channel, auditioned twice for the Jay Leno show, received an award, was on a Pittsburg T.V. show, and did radio interviews. She recently made it in the top 100 for the start up nation's 2010 competition. Rosalee was featured in Linda Forsythe's book walking with the wise overcoming obstacles last year and is putting the finishing touches on her new book, "Follow Your Inventive Yellow Brick Road." It's not how many times you get knocked down, its how many times you get back up.
