Project 1804 can not be described as just a group or band, it is more of a collective they title as a "Movement". Project 1804 is formed around three core people; Jim Beauvais (JB), Mike Fleurimond (Fleurimond), and Ludas Charles (Lu). These three young men make up the nucleus of the “Collective Movement” Project 1804. Since all three gentlemen are of Haitian descent hence the name Project1804. Pronounced Project Eighteen-O-4, 1804 was the year there home country Haiti declared there independence becoming the first independent black nation.
