Jennifer Jill Harman, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Applied Social & Health Psychology at Colorado State University and her research specialty in on the study of intimate relationships, particularly those relationships in which there is parental alienation occurring. She has published several recent peer-reviewed papers examining the role of stereotypes and biases in the perception and sanctioning of parental alienating behaviors, and is the co-author of the book Parents Acting Badly: How Institutions and Societies Promote the Alienation of Children from their Loving Families. Dr. Harman is also on the Board of Directors for a new non-profit offering services and resources to parents who are the target of parental alienation: SimplyParent.org.
