Every three minutes in the United States, a woman hears the life-altering words, “You have breast cancer.” Karen Jackson, Maimah Karmo and April Green were all busy pursuing their  personal and professional lives when they heard those words.

On Wednesday, October 19, Eleanor talks to these women and discovers how they turned their personal challenge into an opportunity to educate, empower and encourage other Black women living with breast cancer.

Whether you have been affected personally or have a loved one who has been diagnosed with breast cancer,  hear first-hand how these women are using their stories to help save the lives of other Black women.

Call them at 646-381-4662 during our live broadcast with your questions or email them prior to the show to asktheexpert@BlackWomensHealth.ORG.
