What is the Real Story about Health Care Reform?

Will Congress pass a health care reform bill?

Will President Obama become the first president to sign health care legislation into law?

Will Black Women get the health care reform we need?

Let's get the answers from Congresswoman Donna Edwards (D-MD) and Attorney Deborah Reid!

During her first term in Congress, Representative Donna Edwards (D-MD) has emerged as a champion for women's rights, especially a woman's right to affordable, accessible and quality health care. The former co-founder and executive director of the National Network to End Domestic Violence who led the effort to pass The Violence Against Women Act of 1994 is a passionate advocate for women.

Deborah Reid's career working on health-related congressional and legislative developments spans more than two decades. She is a senior attorney at the National Health Law Program and considered an expert on Medicaid, racial and ethnic health disparities, women's health and reproductive rights, health information technology and language access issues.

Both experts will join us on our BlogTalkRadio show, "The Black Women's Health Report with Eleanor Hinton Hoytt," on Wednesday, March 17, at 3 p.m. EST to give us the real answers to our real questions.

Call in with your questions at 646-381-4662 or submit them prior to the show to asktheexpert@blackwomenshealth.org.
