Heart disease isn’t just a man’s disease.

Heart attack, stroke and other cardiovascular diseases are devastating to women, too. In fact, heart disease is the single leading cause of death for Black women. Black women have a greater risk of heart disease and stroke than white women.

Listen to the “Black Women’s Health Report with Eleanor Hinton Hoytt” on Wednesday, February 17, 2010, at 3 p.m. EST to get the facts about heart disease and learn how to keep your heart healthy.

If you have questions for our experts, please call-in beginning at 3:15 p.m. to 646-381-4662 or submit your questions to asktheexpert@blackwomenshealth.org.
