Rachel Corrie, an American student and human rights activist from Olympia, Washington was crushed to death in 2003 by an Israeli army bulldozer in the Gaza Strip while nonviolently trying to prevent the demolition of a Palestinian family's home. At the advice of the US government, the Corrie family filed a civil suit agiasnt the Israel Ministry of Defense in Haifa District Court. This Thursday the case, which has been ongoing since March of 2010, will feature the testimony of the driver of the bulldozer which killed Corrie.
