Show Description: Please join host Alice Lynch and Sumayya Coleman and commentator, Shasme Jackson as they talk to Shanasha Whitson and Kimberly Sparrow about the ways in which violence against women and the fear of such violence fuels the HIV and AIDS epidemic. We will dive into what is driving the HIV/AIDS epidemic among African American women and girls? What unique prevention challenges they face? How well do available prevention strategies consider the everyday realities of the lives of African American women and girls?  And the promising approaches and actions that will improve the health of Black women and girls living with and at risk of HIV and intimate partner violence.
