Join hosts Alice Lynch and Sumayya Coleman and Research Commentator Shasme Jackson as they talk to Rose Pulliam and B. Cole about the dynamics of intimate partner violence in lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) communities. The show will give voice to survivors who face societal and systemic barriers based on gender identity and sexual orientation by highlighting and examining ways in which institutions and systems that are supposed to provide solace and meet the needs of all help-seekers, actually make it difficult for LGBTQ survivors to access services. Guests will also describe the unique challenges of communities of color, and provide possible solutions and actions toward alleviating these issues.
