Yours truly has been consumed with making sure that you understand the story of David Bach. Because he's more than just a superb artist that thousands have come to view with respect - he's someone that circles have known for a long time. He deserves the truth about his amazing path that led him to his latest musical adventure: "Fierce Heart." 

You could say that David was an "Air Force brat." (An aside - our guest loved his Military Dad with his whole AND fierce heart!). Interesting thing about the moves the family had to make - David never had to be persuaded to keep practicing on the piano. It helped that he had great teachers along the way. They helped to fuel his interest - which grew through his teen years.

During those years, he had a chance to visit Europe. He not only fell in love with the Progressive Rock that he heard there - but he also was wowed by Jazz greats that had the same idea regarding FUSION: Herbie Hancock & Chick Corea "got" it. So did David. Although trained in Classical music, our admired Guest heard the call to be OTHER. Not that he dismissed his training - he just incorporated it into his vision of what he wanted to play.

His recordings have crossed over from Jazz to World charts. His albums have been compared to the projects that graced Windham Hill Records for years. Michael & Rob Silverman - recent guests on the show and co-owners of the successful Autumn Hill label - know who David Bach is. And not only because he has received two Gold records (Yeah - we're gonna ask about those!)
