Blacks in Politics: Are they truly the leaders in our communities?

In every election, whether at the State, City or Federal level, many blacks hope to have leaders of their heritage and culture in key positions, who will stand tall in representation of the communities and district in which they live and represent.  However, there are a few blacks who  represent African Americans at the federal level, seem to not fit the bill for  what was and is hoped. Figures such as Ben Carson and Omarosa Manigault seem to be of an embarrassment to the black community, than of pride.

On this episode of Real World News, Reggie Kearney and Chara Ann Tappin will be discussing black leaders of today, and how they impact our communities nationwide.

Join Reggie Kearney and Chara Ann Tappin on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 5:30pm PDT/8:30pm EDT, as they discuss and breakdown the importance of black leaders in key positions, and their action effect the social standing of African Americans today.
