On September 16, 2002 at age 47, Pamela Christian went to play tennis. She says, “I arrived feeling what seemed to be minor indigestion, which I'd felt for a couple mornings in a row and I just chalked it up to the cantaloupe I'd been eating.” But within minutes she couldn’t breath and 911 was called. They administered ADVANCED life support because what they witnessed was her suffering the onset of a sudden cardiac arrest. A speaker and author, Pamela began The Bless Your Heart awareness campaign. She desires it to be your story as well as hers. Her web site www.blessyourheartcampaign.com states “Ours in that as you learn the heart facts, you share what you know with others. Together we're helping women everywhere become aware and very potentially saving lives! Here's where we can interact, share stories, recipes and more!” A popular speaker and writer before, she's gone on to host both radio and television and lives her life with greater intensity than ever (and she was pretty intense before)! In 2003 she hosted The Pamela Christian radio show, a live 2-hour weekly call-in program. In 2005 she was hired by Salem Communications to host Life Line on KFAX in San Francisco, a 2 hour drive-time daily call-in talk show. Since January of 2006, in addition to traveling for speaking engagements, she's been published in a variety of venues, has created a television program she is working on and is pursuing various opportunities to host and guest host both radio and television. She was a featured guest on Focus on the Family March 2008. Whether it's media or personal speaking engagements what Pam wants to do most is make a difference in the lives of others.
