Hope42Day is a show full of "Hope" for YOU!   We interview "Ambassadors of Hope" --- people up to good things---from across the Globe.   Please join us today when Hope Host Lynn Kindler talks with Actress, Writer, Performer and much more, Cate Berry!  We're so excited about Cate's upcoming one-woman show, "DISH" which will be showing here in Austin, Texas at the Long Center March 29-30.

Cate Berry's Dish explores celebrity, obscurity and death by pine nuts. Mixing two parts bracing hilarity with one part gossip and a splash of mischief, Ms. Berry slings a night of intoxicating storytelling.  Cate cartwheels through New York City one celebrity at a time, leaving a trail of truth and misadventure in her wake.

Cate Berry studied acting at New York University and received her BFA in musical theater from Webster Conservatory in St. Louis.  She has lived and worked professionally as an actress in New York City, Chicago, Seattle and St. Louis.  Ms. Berry began writing and performing her original work in Austin in 2000, where she recorded Geography (Blind Hit Records), produced by Darden Smith. She won Frontera Fest’s “Best of the Fest” with her original one-woman show Spin - An Inverted Musical in 2004.  Cate was chosen to be in the cast of "Listen to Your Mother" at the AT&T Conference Center in Austin, Texas 2012, and in 2013 won "Best of the Fest" for a second time with her one-woman show Dish. Cate has been honored with two B. Iden Payne Award nominations.
