Welcome to Hope42Day, a "hopeful" web radio show heard around the globe all about "Ambassadors of Hope" or people like you and me who are up to good things in the world.  This show is very happy to welcome our guest  Coach and Author Melissa Schenker.

Melissa Schenker is the principal at Work/Life and has combined an MBA with psychotherapy training to create an unusual consulting practice focused on individuals, organizations and the larger environments within which they operate.

Her coaching practice areas include working with individuals to create satisfying work situations. Her organizational consulting work enables businesses to identify and overcome barriers to growth and continual improvement.

Melissa has opened Work/Life in 1996. Previously she worked as an internal management consultant for the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission, as an operations consultant for Deloitte & Touche, and in a variety of capacities in city government in Austin, Texas and New York City. She has served on several nonprofit boards and as President of Family Connections.

She has an MBA from the Sloan School at M.I.T. and an undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Texas at Austin. She also completed an intensive year long public affairs leadership training fellowship offered by the CORO Foundation in New York City.

Join us for a thought-provoking show as Hope42Day host talks with Schenker about her latest book, "Sweet Relief from the everyday NARCISSIST" which she co-authored with Tina Moody.
